Economic StimuLAN Updates!

Due to reservation issues, we have needed to change the Economic StimuLAN to a different venue and date. Included in this change include a LARGER BYOC area (200 gamers!), the addition of an open console gaming section, and the precense of Game Design & Development project show cases!

The changes:

• Location: RIT Gordon Field House
• Date & Time: April 25th, 2009 11:00 am (10:00 am for EGS members)
• 200 Man LAN Party (BYOC)
• Open Game Section featuring current generation consoles
• Student Projects from the Game Design & Development Major will be show cased!

For those who purchased tickets for the April 4th date, those tickets are still valid and there is no need to exchange them. Tickets are ON SALE at the Gordon Field House Box Office, you can get them via internet, telephone, or in person.

For those interested in show casing their projects at Economic StimuLAN, a reservation is required. Please send a proposal to lan@egsrit.com, once available spaces are taken no more can be accepted! Please include requirements such as power, table space, or other considerations.

Announcing Economic StimuLAN!

We are very proud to announce Electronic Gaming Society's final LAN Party of this academic year named the Economic StimuLAN! Details are still coming in so expect updates soon!

Who:  150 BYOC Gamers! (Bring Your Own Computer)
Tournaments:  TBA

Tickets are currently on sale at the RIT Gordon Field House. Costs are $10 for Members & $15 for Non-Members. You can purchase tickets in person, via phone, or online.
