Hello guys!
It is already the dreaded week 5 of this Winter quarter which means most of you probably have midterms this week or next week and other fun assignments and projects you need to be working on (but you really aren't like the good college student). I know for myself I had a test already and I honestly have no idea what else I have to do this week ^_^ but what does this really mean? I continue to play games of course.
So what games did you spend time on over the break? I'm going to go through the ones I've spent significant time on. I played more than this but these three definitely took most of my time.
Day 5 happened. There was a really big title that was on sale that I just needed to have...
Day 5:
Cave Story + - Lots of my friends have played Cave Story. All of them tell me I need to play it. So when I saw Cave Story + on sale, I quikcly picked it up. I don't know much about Cave Story, but I know it's an adventure/platformer (if I didn't just make that up) where you get upgrades for your weapons and defenses. Cost: $4.99.
Honerable Mention:
Day 4 marked the first day of Steam sales where I just regreted buying something instantly.
Day 4:
Limbo: This isn't the game I regret grabbing. I hear good things about Limbo. I'm not usually into indie stuff so we'll see how I end up feeling about this. A quick glance at Limbo leaves me describing it as a shadowy, dark platformer. That's about how far I get before I remember that I'll touch this in about 4 months.
I'm pretty sure this is actually day 4 of sales currently...
So day 3 was more eventful then the second day. I know there comes a time when Steam puts something I really want on sale for half off so I HAVE to get it. Today was the first day of that...
Day 3:
This day I didn't find too much I liked. I did pick up one thing however...
Day 2:
Chantelise: Why? Because Recettear is adorable that's why! I imagine this as Recettear, but with more fighting and in 3D. How does that not sound awesome?! Chantelise cost me $2.49. Capitalism ho!
Dear Lord, it's time for Steam Christmas sales. I don't know about you, but I have a problem when I see a game is less then $5. I still havn't recovred from last year. I still have a bunch of games I havn't touched and, frankly, I don't plan on playing them. I will be keeping a log of what games I have purchased and why I did it. You can feel free to yell at me and make me regret my purchases.
