EGS360, Reporter, and More!

Hey folks! First off, we've been featured in Reporter this week! Sweet. Click here to read it online. Doesn't "Maim Cabinet" sound so much awesomer than "MAME cabinet"?

Secondly, EGS is putting on a pretty sweet XBOX360 event on Saturday, October 18th from noon until midnight. It's in the Game Development Lab (70-2000), and will feature open gaming as well as tournaments in Call of Duty 4 and Soul Calibur 4. Admission is free, and tournament entry will be $5/members, $10/public. We'll be giving away some sweet prizes too, no doubt.

FFF: Great Success

Thanks to everybody who came to Fall Frag Fest! It was our biggest and best party to date. We took tons of pictures, and we'll be posting the best ones up as soon as possible, so stay tuned!

LAN TOMORROW!

Tomorrow's the LAN, everyone. We're psyched that we're going to have so many people attending!

A few notes before the party:

• Tickets bought online will be held for you at the door.
• We will have carts available for you to transport your equipment with at the event (you will need valid ID).
• Members can get in at 10AM, non-members get in at 11AM.
• There is no assigned seating - sit where you want. If you want to hold a spot for your team members, I suggest you all get there early. If you want to hold seats, please do so with consideration for your fellow patrons - we don't officially support seat holding.

IMPORTANT!

• Bring a power strip!
• Bring a network cable of at least 25' length!
• HAVE ANTIVIRUS INSTALLED!
• We WON'T be providing any hacked games. I suggest you get them installed BEFORE the LAN.
• We will have a fileserver with patches and maps available.
• The internet will most likely move considerably slower than you are used to at the party, so get any major downloadin' out of your system before tomorrow.

Driving to the LAN?
Get directions to 1 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester NY 14623. Get on the loop and follow signs until you get to U-Lot. Park in U-Lot. The SAU is the large building directly in front of U-Lot, there is a door inside from the service lot. Go inside, straight down the hallway and take your second left. Follow that hallway to the stairs, and head on up to the cafeteria.
